The sweeps took place during the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 31, and Thursday, August 1, and scooped up suspects wanted for everything from burglary to parole violations, said Trumbull Police Lt. Brian Weir.
During the sweeps, Weir said detectives coordinate efforts with other local police agencies to track down individuals who have not been held accountable for criminal incidents that they had been involved in.
Some of those arrested include:
- Carlene C. Booker, 39, Bridgeport, charged with robbery and larceny for a shoplifting incident where Booker allegedly claimed to have a knife when confronted by store security. Booker was held on a $25,000 bond. She also had another outstanding warrant out of Westport, for failure to appear. She was held on an additional $1,500 bond.
- Raequan M. Brown, 22, Bridgeport, charged with failure to appear on previous felony drug-related charges to include the possession and sale of narcotics that he was allegedly involved in earlier this year. Brown was held on a $25,000 bond.
- Jennifer Greenberg, 27, Stratford, was arrested on several felonies including forgery, criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer and larceny after initially being arrested for a shoplifting incident in July, where she allegedly assumed the identity of another person while at the Trumbull Mall. Greenberg was held on a $20,000 bond.
- Peter J. Mclean, 47, Trumbull, was arrested on a violation of probation charge. He was released after posting $5,000 bond.
- Paul Piccirillo, 53, Milford, was charged with seven counts of larceny after being identified for several shoplifting incidents that allegedly occurred at the Trumbull Mall. Piccirillo was held on a $2,500 bond.
